The Dream Team- Fantasy Baseball Edition

Welcome to Fantasy insider-Baseball edition.  Today in the MLB, there are a lot of young talented players with a ton of potential.  In the Fantasy world, these are guys you should invest in if you are in a 10 + team keeper league.  Many people can see these players being all time greats, and being compared to "the Machine" Mr. Albert Pujols.   For the next 5 years, there are a group of players I think will evolve into superstars and worthy of 1st round picks in years to come.    Here is The Dream Team, (Hitters)

Catcher- Buster Posey (SF)- No one would of thought the Giants would of won the World Sereis last year,  if it wasn't for Posey.  Posey is very young, 24 and looks like he can be one of the Top catchers in the next decade.  He put up
unbelievable  numbers last year, and led his team to a championship.  He only played 108 games last year, posting a .305 batting average, 124 hits, 67 RBIS, 58 Runs scored and a amazing .505 slugging% in the regular season. Not even playing the full season last year, Posey put up elite numbers.  This season he suffered a broken ankle which placed him on the 60- day DL.  But when he comes back fully recovered, he will be back to normal: being a stud keeper catcher.

1B- Eric Hosmer (KC)- Now, this guy has a ton of Potential.  He doesn’t hit for a ton of power, but is a great athlete and overall solid hitter.  Only 21 years of age, Hosmer was one of the top prospects, and is defiantly showing that he is capable of putting up huge numbers.  In only 37 games played he's hitting .289, 20 runs, 22 RBI, and 5 HR. If he can keep this up, he will end up being very good.

2B-Dustin Ackley (SEA)- This guy is up and coming.  Had his Major League debut Friday, and looks very confinement, and comfortable in the field and at the plate, which is what any manager and fantasy owner could ask for.  For a 21-year-old second baseman, he has some serious power.  MLB annalists link him to the next Robinson Cano.  He has put up insane numbers in AAA and will continue to do so in the MLB, making him a great investment for the future.

3B-Evan Longoria (TB)- Already a first round pick and only in his 3rd year in the Major Leagues!  Everyone knows what he is capable of.  High batting average, a good amount of Homeruns, about 30-35 range consistently and 100+ RBIs.  There is no question he is and will be the top premier 3rd Baseman in the MLB for many years.

Shortstop- Elvis Andrus (TEX)- Only 22, and in his 2nd year in the big leagues, Andrus is on his way to becoming a Top SS.  He has a cannon arm, and a ton or speed.  Not so much power, but is a solid hitter.  He is a great team leader, and very confident in his game. Many MLB analyst compare him to Derek Jeter in his prime; a team winner and an outstanding athlete.  Elvis might not be your first choice of all the shortstops, (Hanley Ramirez or Tulowitzki), but if your looking for a good and cheap shortstop to invest in a keeper league Andrus is your guy.

Outfield- Jason Heyward (ATL)- In my mind, Heyward is one of the best keepers in the game today.  Has an incredible amount of potential and raw- talent.  He is only 21 years old and can hit a crazy amount of Homeruns.  A great fielder and a team leader.  Heyward, 6-5, 240 lbs definitely has the potential to be a fantasy monster.   This guy is Legit.

Outfield- Justin Upton (ARI)- Came into the MLB at the age of 19.  Was the top prospect back in 2007 and is showing why he got drafted right out of High school.  This guy has everything, Speed, Power, great fielding abilities, you name it.  Only 23, Upton has shown the baseball world that he is one of the most talented outfielders in the game today.  He can steal 30 + bases, hit 30 + Homeruns and hit for a high average.  His name is still up and coming, and before you know it, he will be an elite top fantasy player in years to come.  Watch out people!

Outfield- Jay Bruce (CIN)- Only 24, Jay Bruce is putting up All-Star worthy numbers and only in his 3rd season of his MLB career. He’s hitting .282, 46 Runs, 17 Homers, 48 RBIs, and 5 stolen bases.  Just like Justin Upton, and Heyward, Bruce also came out of High school, and caught scouts’ attention.  Bruce has incredible power, considering his age. This guy should be a MUST in a keeper league and a player you should invest in as soon as possible.

Yeah but this is for future seasons. Jordan and Harry, don't forget Longoria is very young, and he is a lock first round fantasy pick. Although the third base position is shallow, he's the best.
