2011 NBA Offseason: Free Agency

This offseason their aren't really that many quality free agents. Most of the free agents are just role players. This is where i think some of them will go:

J.R. Smith- Nets
Jason Richardson- Memphis
Tayshaun Prince- Dallas
Caron Butler- New Orleans
David West- Nets
Marc Gasol- Knicks
Jamaal Crawford- Portland
Greg Oden- Toronto
Wilson Chandler- Nuggets
Thaddeus Young- Sixers
Nick Young- Nets or Wizards

Post where you think these players will be next season as a comment.

Smith- possibly he will go to he nets because he is from nj. But there also is a risk because he gets introuble with the law.

Butler- will stay in dallas. Hot team right now. And he is a good 3 point shooter and defensive prescence.

Gasol- stayling in memphis. Such a young and up and coming team why leave after last years run?

Crawford- stays in atl. They treat him good and give him good minutes no reason to leave as the hawks are a good team too.

Oden- golden state. Golden state gm. Is saying that thier front court is lacking size. Oden is huge and could contribute with lee.

Chandler/young- staying with thier teams. They fit well. Being treated good.

Nick young- staying in washington. He exploded for some high scoring games last year. That shows he will get his shots no reason for him to leave a very young washington team with great things to come.

Very few free agents end up leaving when its all said and done every year. Lebron and Bosh are exceptions but NBA free agency is a hype fest. Joe Johnson, Dirk, Yao, Rudy Gay all stayed put. Their current teams can offer them more years and more money, probably why most of these guys will stay put especially Greg Oden.
